Site work for a civil project in Marion, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Village of Marion is requesting unit rate cost proposal for preliminary test drilling at a potential new Type I public water supply well site at Parcel No. 41-021-037-01, located along Wing Street in the Village of Marion (Figure 1, available upon request). We are requesting a cost for drilling/installation of one exploratory boring to evaluate site geology, installation of two 5-inch PVC observation wells (TW-5 and TW-6), and one exploratory borehole for sieve analyses at the proposed production well (TPW-7) location. The estimated drilling depths are up to 300 ft below ground level. We anticipate the final parameters of the exploratory borings and observation wells to be adjusted based on field observations. Proposed drilling locations are shown on Figure 2 (available upon request). Question Deadline 02/19/2025 Questions shall be submitted via email. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The Village of Marion reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Marion.
