Karis Municipal Management District of Tarrant County (KMMD, "The Owner") is seeking qualified bidders to perform Phase 2A District Improvements, including drainage, water, sanitary sewer and grading improvements and paving of roadways, and alleys for the Karis Master Plan Community. Bidders are invited to submit a proposal to the Owner for consideration. The successful bidder shall be expected to work closely with the KMMD-Owner, Graham Associates, Inc.-District Engineer and CH TNC Karis Owner, LP -Developer. Scope of Work The contractor shall supply a list of personnel, sub-tier contractors, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and all other items and services necessary to provide District Improvements for Karis Municipal Management District of Tarrant County. Services shall include clean-up, disposal of debris, reports, submittals, schedules, licenses, insurance, on-site coordination, and overall management of work activities to perform District Improvements at Phase 2A of Karis Master Plan Community in Crowley, TX as outlined below. Contractor shall be responsible for performance of the following work activities: Proposal should include all work as noted in the Civil Construction Plans: Schedule 1 - Utility Improvements, and/or Schedule 2 - Paving Project Schedule Sample of 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule Items Provided by KMMD DEVELOPER will provide survey services for project control. PRe bid meeting info : A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the office of Graham Associates, Inc. (600 Six Flags Drive, Suite 500, Arlington, TX 76011), or via Teams at the link provided. Pre-bid conference is MANDATORY and no bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present and pre-bid conference; a Teams link is also available for virtual participation. The project includes paving, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, and water installation, traffic control, erosion control and SWPPP maintenance, all in accordance with the plans and specifications for Karis Phase 2A, Paving, Drainage, Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Grading Improvements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner,in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successfulbidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided andprovide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date ContractDocuments are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, thesuccessful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check withinone (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas. A maintenance bond to cover 2 years at 100% of the final contract price is required for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
