Crowley ISD is solicitating CSPs (Competitive Sealed Proposals)for turn-key districtwide wireless upgrades. The awarded vendor will be required to remove, replace and upgrade the existing wireless network, increase the coverage and capacity of wireless and update the related network infrastructure to support the additional access points for the Crowley ISD locations as described in this CSP. Plans for access points along with the current Wi-Fi design maps will be provided at the mandatory pre-conference meeting. The new wireless network shall be a cloud-based controller, enterprise class wired/wireless network and should be compatible with existing Aruba Network. A response to this solicitation is an offer to contract with Crowley ISD and its members based on the specifications and standard terms and conditions contained in this bid document. Respondents are cautioned to read this document completely and submit all required documents with your proposal. Each respondent, by submitting a response, represents that he/she has read thoroughly and understands the proposal. Failure to examine the documents will be at the vendor's risk. Respondents shall familiarize themselves with existing conditions in the material and labor markets prior to submission of an offer. The fact that an offer is submitted will be construed by the CISD Board of Trustees to indicate that a respondent agrees to carry out the furnishing of products and services in full accordance with the specifications and other contract documents not withstanding existing material and labor market conditions. An electronically signed and submitted proposal constitutes an offer to perform the work and or deliver the product(s) and or services specified in this solicitation. The vendor shall propose his/her lowest and best price. All pricing information shall be entered under the "Line Item" section of this CSP. Pricing should include packaging, services and any other related costs associated with completing this project. Vendors must also attached an itemized cost proposal under the "Response Attachment" tab of this CSP. Failure to do these things will invalidate your bid response. If the vendor is awarded a contract under this solicitation, the prices proposed by the vendor shall remain fixed and firm during the term of this contract. All new equipment are turn-key purchases and must include all needed installations, equipment and related costs. This is a public works project. Network Scope of Work Turnkey set up of all access points according to district specifications. All Access points shall be onboarded and configured in Aruba Central. Existing switching infrastructure (428 Switches) for each campus will be onboarded into Aruba Central preserving their current configurations 566 Existing Access Points will be onboarded into Aruba Scope of Work for Cabling Runs Cabling pathways for horizontal cabling will be routed above the drop ceiling, with ceiling grid wires and j-hooks. Cable pathway bundles must be supported utilizing 2 and 1 1/4 j-hooks where existing supports are not available. Any firewalls penetrated for cabling purposes will be resealed with a proper fire rated sealant (2131) Plenum rated, Category 6 cables for AP locations Awarded Vendor will terminate, test, and label all cable segments Vendor will supply all patch cords (1 foot white patch cord from patch panel to switch) and appropriate length patch cords from ceiling terminated biscuit jack to the AP Building Codes: Install all equipment according to manufacturers' specifications, national and local building codes and regulations, and will be in conformity with good engineering practices. Installation will comply with the Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) standards ADA: All equipment will be installed with provisions for the safety of the operator in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) guidelines. Dress Code: All staff will dress in a professional manner. They will conduct themselves in a professional, courteous and respectful manner to all others present. Work Environment: Maintain a clean working environment, storing tools and equipment when not in use and discarding refuse as often as reasonably possible. Supervision: Vendor will appoint a Project Manager (PM) and/or Lead Technician (LT) to oversee the installation. During system implementation, please direct all communications through this designated contact. PM or LT will coordinate with other trades to facilitate and expedite project progress. Vendor will inform the District of any interference or potential delays which could impede implementation of the Physical Security system, thereby helping to avoid any additional charges. Vendor will be responsible for removal of existing old cabling where access points are being replaced. This won't require any on-site work, just reconfiguration. CISD has the counts for those included within the total access points identified in this CSP. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and all proposals submitted are subject to this reservation. Proposals may be rejected, among other reasons, for any of the following specific reasons: A. Proposal received after the time limit for receiving proposals as stated in the advertisement. B. Proposal containing any irregularities. C. Unbalanced value of any items. D. Improper or insufficient proposal guaranty, if required. E. Where the Proposer, any Sub-contractor or Supplier, or the surety on any bond given, or to be given, is in litigation with the District or where such litigation is contemplated or imminent, in the sole opinion of the District.
