Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tyler, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The administration recommends the Board approve the proposals from Advanced Roofing for Douglas Elementary School in the amount of $670,500, Jack Elementary School in the amount of $598,160 and Caldwell Arts Academy in the amount of $152,000 for a total cost of $1,420,660. An official Proposer's List will be created from the requests and used to distribute any addendums and/or corrections. A Proposal Security bond for (5%) percent of the proposal must accompany each proposal following the Instructions to the Vendors. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all proposals. Tyler ISD reserves the right to separate or eliminate any item(s) it deems necessary to accommodate budgetary and/or operational requirement. Tyler ISD also reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts of the proposals, and waiver all formalities, and to award this proposal in the best interests of the district.
