Install striping and buttons as shown on existing roadway and/or as directed by the County Engineer. Bidders must submit a Bid Bond issued by a bonding company satisfactory to Smith County, payable without recourse to the order of Smith County in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible bid submitted as a guaranty that Bidder will enter into contract and execute Bond and Guaranty in the forms provided within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract to him. Bids without required bid bond will not be considered. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety. Should the total contract price be less than $25,000.00, no performance bond or payment bond will be required.
