The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is Requesting Proposals to Replace Electrical -Phase I at the Memorial Unit in Rosharon, Texas. This project is to replace the electrical at the Memorial Unit in two phases. Phase I is to replace the existing 4160V radial electrical power distribution system due to not being in compliance with current codes and standards related to operation and safety Respondent must be bondable and insurable at the levels required. All proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Deposit in the amount of 5% of greatest amount proposed. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required upon award of a contract. Estimated Budget: $ 6,806,200.00 February 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Last Day to Submit Written Questions for Clarification to the Department.
