The project consists of primary construction activities to enhance grid reliability and safety. 1. Stock Drive Circuit Reconductor - Reconductor approximately 5.0 miles of overhead electrical line. This location is in Moffat County, Colorado, which has been identified as a high-risk wildfire area. The goal is to reduce the likelihood of wildfires caused by power line failures and improve the grid's ability to withstand adverse environmental conditions. 1. Overhead Line Upgrades north of Craig, CO a. Replace existing poles and conductors with new materials that comply with updated standards. b. Replace an existing hydraulic recloser bank protecting the existing line with a Molded Vacuum Recloser (MVR) with a micro-processor control. YVEA will be responsible for programming and testing / commissioning of the control. c. Remove and dispose of old conductors and associated equipment in compliance with environmental regulations. 2. Compliance and Documentation a. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and environmental guidelines. b. Document all activities, including as-built drawings, compliance certifications, and photographic records.
