The City of Nanaimo invites qualified Proponents to submit proposals for a qualified Red Seal elevator mechanics or elevator contractor with a thorough knowledge of elevating devices, electronics, electricity, and hydraulics, to perform general preventive maintenance in accordance with Technical Safety BC requirements for elevating devices and as outlined in Section 5.0. The Scope of Services also includes completing modernization of two (2) elevators at the Vancouver Island Conference Center as further described in Section 6.0. Prior to performing any Work at the RCMP Detachment Building, the Supplier must agree and provide proof of RCMP Security Clearance to an FA03 level or higher to work in a secure RCMP facility. The RCMP Security Clearance is also at the sole expense of the Supplier. This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19).
