Any questions concerning the intent, meaning and interpretations of the Proposal Documents shall be requested in writing, and received by the City at least fourteen (14) days prior to the Proposal Opening. The Scope of Work for this project includes the Canal #8 repair, restoration and stabilization of canal bank erosion per the ITB 25-6310-15B. Approved Plans and Specifications are included. There is an immediate need to repair/restore canal bank and erosion control to protect the canal from pollutants that are harmful to water quality and flood control throughout the canal network. A variety of means and methods will be employed to restore canal banks that are in critical condition. The project scope will include canal bank repair, stabilization, restoration and erosion control in accordance with the final design(s) and required permits. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment for construction activities of the project. Contractor is responsible for any permits required for project. Bidder should attend the site visit to become familiar with the existing conditions. Change orders will NOT be approved due to existing conditions that were not considered by Bidder. Bonding Requirements. This project requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the Bid amount. In addition, a Performance and Payment Bond at 100% of the contract amount is required. Bonding Requirements: Include a five percent (5%) Bid Bond. Failure to provide a Bid guarantee will result in automatic rejection of your Bid. All required Bonds must be submitted on the CITYS Bond forms, included in this document. (Failure to properly complete and sign this document shall cause the Bid submittal to be rejected as non-responsive.
