Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Barling, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes 7,000 LF of sidewalk and 95 handicap ramps along Highway 22 in Barling, Arkansas. A bid bond in the amount of 5% complying with Arkansas regulations shall accompany each bid. The CITY OF BARLING hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. Build America, Buy America provisions apply to this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. No bid shall be withdrawn within a period of 60 calendar days following opening of bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
