In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation and grading, installation of a lift station and a wet well, along with tile and outlet structures, riprap and granular material placement, and seeding. This project includes around 52,695 cubic yards of earthwork, 280 linear feet of various tile installation, one 48-inch diameter wet well installation, one 48-inch lift station with pump and electrical controls and service, 280 tons of riprap, erosion stone, and filter stone, along with 6.03 acres of seeding. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $480,000 to $540,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
