Site work for a water / sewer project in Whittemore, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Consists generally of repairs to the most severe bank and pipe damages along the approximately 30-mile long open ditch, including approximately 7,827 linear feet (LF) of open ditch bank shaping, furnishing and installing approximately 8,003 tons of riprap, repairs to tile extension and surface drain pipes including replacement, and cutting off damaged ends, seeding & fertilizing of disturbed open ditch banks, a rock chute, and filling one low spot in the existing open ditch spoil pile. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 6, 2026 All materials are to be in strict compliance with specifications prepared by Jacobson-Westergard & Associates of Estherville, Iowa, which, together with the proposed form of contract, have heretofore been approved by the Board and are now on file for public examination the office of the Palo Alto and Kossuth County Auditors, and are by this reference made a part hereof as though fully set out and incorporated herein. Question Deadline 09/19/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
