Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Dover, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Proposed Addition and Interior Renovations for the Tuscarawas County Health Department located at 897 East Iron Avenue, Dover, Ohio 44622 The estimated construction budget is expected to be approximately $1,987,000.00. The projected construction schedule has the project starting approximately March 24, 2025 and being substantially completed in October of 2025. Each bid must include a bid guaranty in the form of a bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add Alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add Alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is a partially Federally funded project utilizing a combination of ARPA funds, Federal Award (CFDA 93.323) Epidemiology and laboratory Capacity for Infectious Diseases, Federal Award (CFDA 93.493 Congressional Directives, and State and Local funds and potential other funds. Therefore, all Federal regulations will apply. The work performed under this contract is also subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions including the payment of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The contract delivery method will be Prime Contracts. Therefore, accepting bids for 1. General and Civil Construction, 2. Plumbing and HVAC Construction, 3. Electrical and Fire Alarm Construction. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. The Tuscarawas County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities in bids, reject any or all bids and conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Submit any questions as to the true meaning or for interpretation and clarification of any part of the Contract Documents in writing to the Design Professional, not later than 3 days before the scheduled bid opening (28 February 2025).
