Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the Reeces Creek Elementary School Roofing Project. Replace Membrane Roofs as indicated in the Drawings: a. Remove existing roofing and flashings to deck, repair deck as required and as indicated at equipment to be removed. 1) Refer to roof system log for existing materials and locations. Carefully repair deck at damaged areas as specified. b. MEP Modifications: 1) Increase height of all existing curbs as required to provide a minimum of 12" base flashing height above the level of the new roof system. 2) Relocate existing penetrations and raise existing piping/conduit lines at locations identified on the drawings. 3) Remove and dispose of abandoned equipment. 4) Replace smoke vents at new roof areas as specified. 5) Provide new pipe supports at all existing gas, refrigerant, and conduit lines at new roof areas. 6) Replace all existing gas lines at new roof areas, prime and paint. 7) Remove existing abandoned penetrations and repair deck as indicated in the drawings. 8) Replace all existing roof drains and hose bibs c. Access Modifications: 1) Provide and install new roof hatches, safety rails and interior ladders as indicated on drawings. 2) Provide new roof warranty signs, quantity and size as indicated in the specifications, locations as determined by owner. d. Install new roof systems as specified: 1) Install mechanically fastened base sheet, polyisocyanurate insulation and coverboard as specified. 2) Install new fully adhered roof membrane and flashings. 3) Provide sheet metal flashings as specified. Provide new painted cast iron downspout boots at all locations discharging at grade. e. Walls: 1) Metal Wall Panel Above Roofs D, E: Install new plywood as specified, high temperature underlayment, hat channels and wall panels, and all associated flashings. f. Interior scope of work: 1) Replace up to 200 square feet of damaged (wet, stained, or broken) interior ceiling tiles to match existing, under roof areas replaced. 2) Paint underside of roof deck at MEP modifications where exposed to interior to match existing color and condition, at roof areas replaced only. g. Skylights: 1) Replace existing skylights and curbs as specified.
