Renovation of an educational facility in Blacksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Removal of the existing low-slope roofs and installation of a fully-adhered 60-mil EPDM roof system. The project shall also include the supplementation and recert. of the existing lighting protection. Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Newman Library Roof Replacement at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University ("Virginia Tech") located in Blacksburg, VA. The project is generally described as: Removal of the existing low-slope roofs and installation of a fully-adhered 60- mil EPDM roof system. The project shall also include the supplementation and recertification of the existing rooftop lighting protection system. The Deadline for Request for Information (RFI) shall be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. All RFIs shall be sent via email to Ted Alt, Buyer Specialist at thealt13@vt.edu.
