ID 2017-02 is seeking water treatment plant operations and maintenance services for this system. The Project is located in Yuma County, Arizona. The proposed work is located within the Town of Tacna. The Water Treatment Campus is located approximately 1,200 feet south of the intersection of South Avenue 40 East and East County 8th Street along the east side of South Avenue 40 East. The water pipeline will run from the proposed Water Treatment campus and extend south along South Avenue 40 East to the Town of Tacna, then several distribution lines will run throughout the town. The approximate center of the Water Treatment Campus is located at a latitude of approximately 32.7047 North and a longitude of approximately -113.9529 West. The Water Treatment Campus and water distribution system are located in the west half of Section 30 of Township 8 South and Range 16 West and southeast quarter of Section 25 of Township 8 South and Range 17 West of the Gila and Salt River Baseline and Meridian System. The main treatment facility is located on the land provided by the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation and Drainage District (WMIDD) east of County Avenue 40E and north of County 8th Street. The address for the Water Treatment Campus (WTC) is 8275 E South Avenue 40E, Tacna, Yuma, Arizona, 85352. A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. The contract will be awarded on a three-year contract with two annual renewals for a maximum of five years. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive minor defects and technicalities as it may deem to be in the best interest of Improvement District 2017-02 (Tacna Water).
