Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Azle, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

This project includes installing approximately 2,375 linear feet of 6' wide concrete sidewalk and all incidental appurtenances for a complete project in accordance with the contract documents and plans. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of CITY OF AZLE, TEXAS, negotiable U.S. Governmental bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond of the successful Bidder will be retained until the Performance-Payment Bonds and Maintenance Bond (providing for a two (2) year warranty) have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. If the Contract is $50,000 or more, Performance-Maintenance-Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds, Maintenance Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. The Owner within twenty-one (21) days of receipt of the fully executed Contract documents, shall return to the Contractor an executed duplicate of the Contract Documents. Should the Owner not return the executed Contract Documents within such period, The Bidder may, by written notice, withdraw his signed Contract. Such notice of withdrawal shall be effective upon receipt of the notice by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the contract.
