The Contractor will provide to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW): labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for quarterly inspection, maintenance, and servicing of a Domestic & Irrigation Water Treatment Facility, in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained herein. All inspection and maintenance work will ensure that the equipment continues to function properly and safely. REQUIRED LICENSE(S): From CA State Water Resources Control Board: D1 or higher Water Distribution Operator Certificate, and/or T2 or higher Water Treatment Operator Certificate. Location of Services: The services will be performed at Imperial Wildlife Area (IWA): 8700 Davis Road, Niland, CA, Imperial County, 92257. Contract Term Date: Upon CDFW (if under $50,000.00) or DGS (if $50,000.00 or more) approval through June 30, 2028 Estimated Cost: $36,000.00. Proposed Award Date: March 21, 2025. Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. Bids shall remain valid for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the bid opening date: The State will endeavor to execute a contract within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the bid opening date. The contract is not executed until the appropriate State agency has approved the contract. Bidders shall hold their bids for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the bid opening date. Upon expiration of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the bid opening date, bidders may withdraw their bids. If bidder, after expiration of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the bid opening date fails to withdraw its bid and a contract is subsequently approved by the appropriate State agency and executed, bidder shall have no claim for any reason to amend its bid. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject all bids. The agency is not required to award an agreement. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in any bid.
