Mauriceville MUD will allow construction to commence within six (6) months of the date of the Notice of Award. The project scope for the Base Bid includes but is not limited to: Rehabilitation of FM 1136 150,000-Gallon Elevated Storage Tank Acquire any necessary insurances Mobilize and prepare site Complete repair items of work listed in Section 13200, Part 3, Paragraph c Repair pits and prior corrosion damage by applying four (4) gallons of TNEMEC Series 215 pit filler Repair pits and prior corrosion damage by welding Replace the interior coating system and provide dehumidification equipment Set up containment Replace the exterior coating system Furnish and install two (2) logos Provide final inspection, disinfection and demobilize The project scope for Additive Alternate Bid #1 includes three (3) warranty options for the FM 1136 Elevated Storage Tank over the construction contract time of 12-months. These three (3) additional options are for an additional 12-month, 24-month, and 36-month warranty for labor/materials. The right is reserved by the Mauriceville MUD, as the District's interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the Mauriceville MUD; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid.
