Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and power facility.
Description of Work: Scope 1: The installation contractor is responsible for determining the appropriate sequence for the non-HCAI work for the 9557240 Central Plant Urea Conversion Project. Please use the Summary of Work for guidance. The following is required: 1. Demolition of existing Aqueous Ammonia processing equipment 2. Installation of new University provided UREA processing equipment 3. Removal of existing CO Catalyst 4. Removal of existing SCR Catalyst 5. Demolition of Ammonia Injection Grid (AIG) and associated external piping 6. Patching of existing AIG piping penetrations through Heat Recovery Steam Generator wall 7. Fabrication of new AIG piping penetrations through Heat Recovery Steam Generator wall 8. Installation of new University provided AIG and associated external piping 9. Installation of new University provided AIG baffle 10. Installation of new University provided CO Catalyst 11. Installation of new University provided SCR Catalyst 12. Installation of UREA processing equipment to AIG interconnect piping. 13. Coating of an existing Underground Storage Tank to convert its use from Aqueous Ammonia storage to UREA storage Scope 2: HCAI work included in Plan_S230637-34-00-20230713 This scope covers the connection of the new Central Plant urea emissions equipment to the existing electrical system. The new urea emissions equipment is being installed under a separate permit and will be located in the non-HCAI portion of the building. The electrical work will utilize existing conduits and raceways--no new structural connections or penetrations through rated walls are proposed under this scope Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents must be in writing and received by 4 p.m., August 6, 2025.
