This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the selection of an Electrical Contractor for the Lighting Controls Upgrade of the North Tower and South Building of Sechelt Hospital. North Tower: Replace lighting controls components within the existing panelboards, as located in the electrical rooms that are away from patient rooms and treatment areas. Directly replace field devices (switches and occupancy controls) with new devices mounted at existing locations. No new device locations are anticipated at the time of this writing. This work encompasses all floors of the facility. No surfaces reclamation is anticipated other than potential for minor touchup painting at some switch locations (a possibility if wall area around switch locations is damaged or dirty). South Building: Replace lighting controls panelboards and field devices with new. Work is mostly contained to the public corridor on the first floor, South Wing of the facility. There will be surface reclamation work at three placements along the one corridor. This reclamation work will involve minor carpentry, drywalling, sanding, and painting. Areas of work are not located in patient, treatment, operating rooms, laboratories, or pharmacy areas. This work will be performed after-hours and will not impact patients, staff or treatments conducted as normal operations in these areas. Areas of work will be HEPA vacuumed each shift.
