Reference Number 0000375988 Emmet County is soliciting proposals from prospective vendors to provide the County with paving services for three (3) parking lots located at the Emmet County offices, 200 Division St., Petoskey, MI 49770. The project is to commence on or about September 2, 2025. The purpose of this request for proposal is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply Emmet County with parking lot repaving services. The Vendor shall provide the following related to this particular RFP: A. All paving improvements described in the attached bid set of construction documents prepared by Sidock Group. Includes sheets C-001, C-100, C-101, C-200, C-250, C-300, C-350, C-400, C-450, C-500, C-501, C-502 C-503, C-504, C-600. B. Attached document 524266. List of approximate quantities. C. A detailed schedule of values to support the proposed fee. D. Project schedule indicating substantial completion on or before November 7, 2025. Performance Bond: The selected vendor is responsible for furnishing and maintaining at its cost a Performance Bond. The performance bond shall be 25% of the contract amount, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and terms thereof. The bond shall be solely for the protection of the governmental unit awarding the contract. Payment Bond: The selected vendor is responsible for furnishing and maintaining at its cost a Payment Bond. The payment bond shall be 25% of the contract amount and shall be solely for the protection of claimants, supplying labor or materials to the principal contractor or his subcontractors in the prosecution of the work provided for in the contract The scope of work consists of two primary areas. The north area is on Bay Street just west of Division. This area includes two parking lots. One is a smaller lot serving the Sheriff's Office and the other is a larger lot serving the County Administrative Offices. The south area is currently a two-tier parking area on the southwest corner of Division and Lake Street. This lot will be converted to one-level with access control.
