Reference Number 0000375913 This request is for a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) between a qualified contractor and Denver International Airport (DEN) to construct a new surface parking lot that will provide approximately 5,200 parking spaces. The project site exists just south of the existing Worldport Facility between Jackson Gap St and the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot at DEN. The current condition of the project site is undeveloped farmland. The project proposes to develop this land and provide a new location for the Longs Peak Shuttle Lot in effort to enable the construction of a ConRAC facility. The South Worldport Lot will provide connectivity to Jackson Gap St and the N Elk St. The construction scope will include, but is not limited to earthwork and grading, stormwater drainage and conveyance infrastructure, concrete paving, construction of shuttle shelters, electrical and lighting infrastructure, electrical vehicle charging infrastructure, water service improvements and hydrants, communications and access control infrastructure, a new signalized intersection, extension asphalt roadway on of N Elk St, widening of Jackson Gap St, signage and pavement marking, erosion and sediment control measures, and existing roadway tie-ins.
