sealed bids will be received by the City of Brigantine (here inafter called the "Owner") for: WELL HOUSE ENTRY AND SITE ELEMENTS REHABILITATION PROJECT. sealed bids for the above-named Contract, which is comprised of interior demolition, the replacement and new construction of doors, and the reconstruction of exterior platforms and stairs at three well sites The work for, WELL HOUSE ENTRY AND SITE ELEMENTS REHABILITATION PROJECT includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. . The work shall be completed within one hundred 150 (150) days of the Notice to Proceed or subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per day No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, provided that the said security need not be more than $20,000 nor less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Each individual proposal must be separately enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Owner and marked on the outside with the number of the contract(s) and name of the project being bid on. After receipt of bids, no bid shall be withdrawn except as expressly authorized herein. The Owner shall award the Contract or reject all bids within 60 days of bid opening, except that the bids of any bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the Owner, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed. The Owner will evaluate bids and any award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informali ties or irregularities in bids received.
