The purpose of the project is to aid and facilitate the random test pitting and inventory process for the Lead Service Line Replacements Program in accordance with the New Jersey State Law P.L.2021, Ch. 183 (the Lead Service Line Replacement Act). Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the City of Brigantine, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid and not to exceed twenty thousand dollars and zero cents ($20,000.00), as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Question Deadline 08/13/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Any request for information (RFI) shall submitted in writing to the engineer. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner.
