Renovation of a municipal facility in Gatineau, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project is to upgrade the chiller control interface at Portage I. Chillers # 1 and 2 would be retrofitted with new controls panels supplied by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the chillers. The control module would allow connection to BAS for enhanced monitoring and trending capabilities. The Phase I chiller plant includes a Trane 975 ton centrifugal chiller and a Trane 565 ton centrifugal chiller. These machines originally operated with refrigerant R-11 and were converted to refrigerant R-123 in 2000 and 2003. TIMELINE: Contract for design services has been awarded following request for proposals # GOC1831046-CS. Reference Number: 0000287173. Design is underway. Further update in late fall/winter, 2025.
