Los Banos Unified School District is requesting qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to perform the planning, coordination and construction management services for the District's Los Banos High School Modernization Project. Services may include any or all of the following: planning, coordination, program management, project management and construction management services. Responders are encouraged to submit proposals that identify their experience level with management of complex construction projects. The Los Banos Unified School District serves around 11,000 students. Voters within the District recognized the value of providing clean, safe and modernized schools by supporting the District's Measure X bond initiative. The District is currently engaged in the process of receiving approved DSA plans for the modernization of Los Banos High School and has a need for assistance with construction management services to partner with the District and their architect to execute the project. In addition, the District may also desire to contract with the successful firm for Program Management, Programming/Design and/or Preconstruction Phases of future projects. These projects will be constructed using the CM Multiple Prime construction delivery method and may include either modernization and/or new construction. The first project will be a major modernization project at Los Banos High School. This campus is a 50+ year old school site. Improvements will be made to the interior and exterior of the Tiger Gym. The scope includes infrastructure upgrades, updating the locker rooms, new gym floor, bleachers, lobby entrance improvements. The scope also includes replacing the existing 2200sq ft. administration building. Sitework improvements will include quad upgrades with an outdoor stage, shade structures and a new senior courtyard. Renovation of classroom wings H, J & K, which includes infrastructure, technology and finishes upgrades. This project also includes an interim housing project. The project timeline spans from June 2025 to December 2026, and the District requires that the construction management firm has staff ready to be assigned to the project to work with the District and the Districts architectural firm immediately.
