The Project is generally described as: Public Address System Upgrades including associated cabling, integrated clock-bell devices, wall speakers, exterior speakers, and head-end equipment. The campuses are: Glen Park Elementary School - 151 Lippard Ave, San Francisco, CA 94131 ,Jean Parker Elementary School - 840 Broadway, San Francisco, CA 94133 ,Marshall Elementary School - 1575 15th St, San Francisco, CA 94103 ,New Traditions Elementary School - 2049 Grove St, San Francisco, CA 94117 ,Rosa Parks Elementary School ñ 1501 O'Farrell St, San Francisco, CA 94115 ,Sherman Elementary School ñ 1651 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code ß 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Bid Proposals are opened: Class B, General Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification or Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Data cabling, fiber, and lowvoltage system work must be performed by C-7 licensed contractor. Conduit and electrical work to be performed by C-10 licensed contractor. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of (a) cash, (b) a certified or cashiers check made payable to the District or (c) an original Bid Bond, in the form and content attached hereto, in favor of the District executed by the Bidder as a principal and a Surety as surety (the "Bid Security") in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Total Base Bid. The District has a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Goal Program (ìthe DVBE Program) which establishes a three percent (3%) Participation Goal for DVBE.
