Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Franklin, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a 900-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Franklin, Nebraska is requesting bids for the installation of a musical playground and surfacing in City Park. The City of Franklin was granted the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Rural Community Recovery Program (RCRP) grant to partially fund this project. All work related to this project must be completed no later than April 15, 2026. The proposal shall include the cost breakdown for these three sections: 1) installation of four musical playground features that complement one another to encourage interactive and accessible play, 2) option for 5 th feature, budget permitting, 3) installation of rubberized industry standard ADA compliant surface for features. Location of Project: City Park & Library at 1502 P Street. City staff will prepare the site with removal of underground sprinklers in the area. Description of the Project: The project includes purchase of 4 musical playground features, with an option for a 5th, in an approximate 900 square footage area with rubberized surface installation as a playground industry standard product. The RCRP Park Project committee will provide a decision to the City Council by May 13 with notification of selection to follow. The company selected will work closely with the City and SCEDD to ensure all grant compliance terms are followed. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
