The Giant City Community Consolidated School District No. 130 in Carbondale. Illinois will receive sealed bids for HVAC Replacement. Phase 2 at the Giant City School located at 1062 Boskydell Road. Carbondale. IL 62902. Bids shall be submitted in a single lump sum proposal. In accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a satisfactory hid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The surety company mod be authorized to do business in the slate where the project is located and most be acceptable to the School District. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the District will reject the bid. Proposals shall be made on unaltered bid forms which are incorporated herein. All blank spaces shall he completed. Proposals shall be signed with name typed below signature. When bidder is a corporation. proposals must he signed with the legal name of the corporation followed by the name of the state of incorporation and the legal signature of an officer authorized to bind the corporation to a contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the District all in accordance with of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall carefully examine the documents and construction site to obtain firsthand know ledge of the existing condition. Contractors will not be given extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the District. . Base Bid: a.
