Perform all of the work and furnish all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for annual and quarterly cleaning of kitchen hoods and exhaust fans located in various buildings throughout the Presidio of Monterey. Question Deadline 03/05/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Question Response Deadline: March 7, 2025, 5:00pm. An original certified check or cashier's check payable to the order of the City of Monterey, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount shall be uploaded with each bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bid bond must be notarized, include the embossed surety seal, and include a Power of Attorney if the signee is not an officer of the surety. The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to City of Monterey so that it is received within 15 daysafter the Notice of Award is issued Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
