UMBA is seeking General Contractor and Trade Bids for the Hicks Cage Gym Renovations Cross Country / Track & Field Indoor Performance Center on the University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus. Scope includes a complete renovation of the existing Hicks Cage, and selective work in the main lobby area. This is a phased project in a very busy pedestrian area with one phase of work in a partially occupied setting. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Scope includes, Masonry (ECC: $75,000); Waterproofing, Dampproofing, and Caulking (ECC: $32,000); Roofing and Flashing (ECC: $450,000); Glass and Glazing (ECC: $245,000); Tile (ECC: $87,000); Resilient Flooring (ECC: $920,000); Painting (ECC: $140,000); Fire Protection (ECC: $63,000); Plumbing (ECC: $100,000); HVAC (ECC: $1,300,000); and Electrical (ECC: $1,650,000).
