This project is being let using the single prime bidding and contracting process. DFD will publicly bid the applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP) divisions of work first. In general, the work consists of: completely removing the 56,560 SF built-up roofing system, metal roof edges, flashing, and foam insulation down to the structural deck; and replacing all roofing materials including a minimum of 5-inches of tapered, rigid foam insulation to achieve an R-25 insulation value, a new fully adhered membrane roofing system, new metal roof edges, and flashing.
