The following is a list of the services requested as part of this RFP for on-call marine / coastal engineering services. Consultant will be responsible for deploying and storing any vessels or equipment related to services. Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/24/2025 2:00 PM (PST). The City of Newport Beach is seeking proposals from qualified proposers interested in providing the City with on-call marine / coastal engineering services. The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is to identify the most qualified, responsive, and responsible proposer(s) to provide these services over the course of a proposed three (3) year agreement period. Please see Scope of Services for more information. Award of selected proposer(s) will be done via City Council action/approval. BACKGROUND The City of Newport Beach was incorporated September 1, 1906 and the current City Charter was adopted in 1954. The City operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The City is located in the County of Orange and serves a population of approximately 86,000 people. The City covers a land area of approximately 26 square miles with an additional 25.5 square miles of ocean, bay, and harbor waters.
