Construction of 8 new turnkey tennis courts on a site prepared by the school district. The Gilmer County Board of Education (GCBOE) (Owner), is soliciting proposals from Construction Professionals/firms interested in providing turnkey Construction of 8 new tennis courts in Gilmer County, Ellijay, Georgia. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify potential providers of the above mentioned services. All respondents to this RFP are subject to instructions communicated in this document, and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFP and follow instructions carefully. The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at their discretion. 1. GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION Project Description: Refer to Exhibit A for the "Project Description/Scope of Work". Project Delivery Method The contractor will provide labor and materials to construct 8 new tennis courts on a site near Gilmer High School. The awarded contractor will also work with the owner to finalize any design/layout of the tennis courts during the pre construction phase of the project. Project Budget The contractor will provide a cost for the 8 new tennis courts complete with posts, net, and all related rigging on a site that has already been prepared by the owner. The contractor will also provide a per foot cost for 10' and 4' black, chain link fencing and gates. The design of the fence will be determined at a later date depending on the layout of the tennis courts. The initial plan is to have 6 courts running parallel to one another on one continuous surface, the other 2 courts will be connected to one another but separate from the 6 parallel courts.
