Project No. SDIRC 05-00-2025DE Exterior painting of Vero Beach High School Bid Security Bond - Bid bond in the amount not less than 5% of the gross bid shall accompany each bid, with the understanding that bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. Bid security shall be made payable to the School District of Indian River County, and may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company accepted to the owner. Bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Performance and Payment Bond - Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Both bid and performance/payment bonds must be written through a reputable and responsible surety bonding agency, licensed to do business in the State of Florida and shall be issued in accordance with Ch. 624 F.S. Upon receipt of the performance/payment bond, the bid bond will be returned to the successful bidder.
