Amerex Fire Suppression System Agent Cylinder Maintenance NJ TRANSIT is issuing an IFB for work that generally consists of but is not limited to the following, this bid covers a blanket agreement for the performance of the Amerex Six-Year and Twelve-Year Agent Cylinder Maintenance as required by "National Fire Protection Association. (NFPA)". The actual number of Amerex Agent Cylinders serviced during this period may be more, or less, than the estimated quantity. NJ TRANSIT is not bound to purchase any minimum quantity. All work must be in conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. The Bidders Pre-qualification Package (Attachment B) must be submitted by email to rgiovene@njtransit.com on or before 04:00 pm (EST) February 26, 2025, for the Bidder to be considered as a possible Bidder. Late pre-qualification forms will not be accepted and will disqualify a vendor from contract award. Only those Bidders who have participated in Step One (1) and who have been deemed pre-qualified will be allowed to submit a Bid in Step Two (2). All Bidders who are found to be acceptable at the completion of Step One (1) and deemed pre-qualified will be notified of their status by March 26, 2025, by 4:00 pm and will be invited to submit a Bid in Step Two (2). The Bidder must upload its bid prior to the time specified so that it is included in the project download. Late bids cannot be accepted. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Contractors agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-17 et seq.; N.J.S.A 52:32-31.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:13-1.1 et seq.; N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.11 et seq., and other applicable regulation to ensure that Small Business Enterprises (SBEs)/Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (DVOBs) have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. A Zero Percent (0%) SBE/DVOB Goal has been assigned to this project. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:25-11 and N.J.A.C. 16:72-2.2, Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bids.
