Location Orange County, California Notice Text NOTICE CALLING FOR BIDS for Fullerton Joint Union High School District Bid#: 2425-13, Project Location: Sonora High School , Project Title: Sonora High School BLDG 300 and 900 Flooring Replacement Notice is hereby given that the governing board ( Board ) of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District ( District ) has determined that the following contractors and subcontractors must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid or proposal on the Sonora High School BLDG 300 and 900 Flooring Replacement project ( Project ): These contractors and subcontractors must submit an original fully completed and sealed Prequalification Questionnaire to the District at the time/date/location indicated here: Facilities and Construction, Fullerton Joint Union High School District, 1027 S Leslie St, La Habra, CA 90631, Time: February 21, 2025 2:00PM Any contractor that has prequalified on a District project within the past (12) months may be able to satisfy the prequalification requirements for this project. Please review the Prequalification Questionnaire in the Project Documents for this Project to make that determination All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Project Documents, including, but not limited to, the Information for Bidders. Engineer s Estimate: $575,000.00 (subject to change due to environmental report) As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form either (1) a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, (2) cash, or (3) a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within the time frame required in the Project Documents, enter into the contract to perform the Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100 % Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract to perform the Project. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a) in which circumstance the contractor or subcontractor is ineligible to respond to a bid or to do public work]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015). This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The District will conduct (1) Mandatory informational job walks relative to the Project. The location of the job walk shall be Sonora High School, 401 S Palm St, La Habra, CA 90631. At the flag Pole at 10:00 AM on February 19, 2025. The District requires that each bidder possess the following classification(s) of contractor s license(s) at the time the bid is submitted: Bid No.: 2425-13 , Description: Sonora High School BLDG 300 and 900 Flooring Replacement, License: C-15 The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and throughout the term of the Agreement. The Project Documents are on file at the following location: Crisp Imaging . The Project Documents include the plans and specifications pursuant to which the Project is to be constructed and upon which the bidders are to base their bids. The District shall award the Agreement, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: The base bid amount only. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Prior to the Bid Submission Deadline, any bidder may withdraw its bid in person or by written request. No bids may be withdrawn between the Bid Submission Deadline and the ninetieth (90 th calendar day thereafter, inclusive, and all bids shall be effective throughout that entire ninety (90) day period.
