Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and power facility.

The Project is located at 3501 Cowell Road, Concord, California 94518 RFB #2718 Question Deadline 07/31/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Deadline for Requests for Information Submit all questions via EMAIL to William.wahbeh@cityofconcord.org. Scope of Work. The project's primary purpose is to reconstruct a portion of the parking lot solar array that was damaged by a vehicle. The work includes but is not limited to site mobilization, remove and repair of solar array pier foundation concrete and anchor bolts, disassembly and reassembly of solar array frame and panels, reinstallation of electrical system to reconnect solar PV including but not limited to conduit, conductor, and equipment, test and verify full and complete operation of electrical and PV system, attending meetings, providing required submittals and schedules, and coordinating with City's Recreation Department. Scope of work also includes preparatory work, securing the work area for public safety, and site cleanup daily, and all other work as specified in these General Conditions, Technical Provisions, and as shown on the Plans. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 84 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about September 2025, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. Liquidated Damages. It is expressly understood that if Final Completion is not achieved within the Contract Time, City will suffer damages from the delay that are difficult to determine and accurately specify. City will charge the Contractor $500 for each calendar day that Final Completion is delayed beyond the Contract Time Estimated Cost. The estimated construction cost is $170,000. License. This Project requires that the bidding contractor possess a valid California contractor's license in all the following classification(s): Class "B" General Building Contractor, Class "C-46"Solar Contractor and Class "C-10" Electrical Contractor. DIR Registration. City may not accept a Bid Proposal from or enter into the Contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder is registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions.
