Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Brooksville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the addition of a 8,049-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Bracken County Fiscal Court and Bracken County EMS of Brooksville, Kentucky will be accepting sealed bids for the Addition and Partial Renovation of their existing facility at 592 Bladeston Drive in Brooksville, Kentucky. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Bracken County Fiscal Court and Bracken County EMS reserve the right to waive any informality, irregularity, or defect in any proposal, and to reject any/or all proposals should it be deemed in the best interest of the Bracken County Fiscal Court or Bracken County EMS to do so. It is the intent of the Bracken County Fiscal Court and Bracken County EMS to award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Project includes two story addition with vehicle bays, training room, and lounge and sleeping facilities for EMS staff. Building is constructed of wood framing (5B construction), concrete, and parts of the existing building are CMU. Scope includes a partial renovation of existing single-story office and vehicle bay. Entire building will be clad in metal siding and roofing. Project totals 8,049 sf and will have an occupant load of 75 occupants and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
