Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work of the Contract is proposing to design and construct a Miscellaneous Small and Large Diameter Water Line Improvements as part of the Surface Water Transmission Program. The project is a combination of line rehabilitation and new water line construction. The pipeline will be constructed within City Right-of-way (ROW) and permanent easement by combination of open cut, sliplining, spray epoxy 3mm and rehabilitation construction methods, including valves, and connections, appurtenances at (3) different sites with a total length of 18,100 linear feet. Scope Site ID 2: 20 Slipline Waterline on Nicholson St. (3,300 ft) Site ID 3: 16 Slipline Waterline on 18th St. (12,000 ft) Site ID 7: Epoxy Coat 24 WL Telephone/Reveille (3,000 ft) Security Deposit: A certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid Price. MBE and WBE Goals are two separate Contract Goals, to be met individually. Any excess of one Goal cannot be applied to meet another Goal. An SBE can be applied to the MBE and/or WBE Goal, but not to exceed 4%. Up to 50% of the Bidders Participation plan may be met using Suppliers. Up to 50% of the advertised goal may be met at the at the Prime level if the Prime is a City-certified firm.
