Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of relining the above referenced storm sewer trunkline by centrifugal spin-cast technology with geopolymer product to a 2.5-inch thickness. For the 96 ft long 10'x11' box culvert, geopolymer product should be applied by hand spraying. Work also includes spin casting the existing drainage structures, including twelve (12) inlets and nine (9) manholes internally with geopolymer product to a 1.5-inch thickness. Spin cast operations shall include: cleaning of the existing storm sewer pipe; removal of existing debris & obstruction; stopping infiltration at identified location; repairing crack & concrete spalling; spin-casting the internal of trunkline and drainage structures; sealing lateral connections to trunkline and drainage structures; removal and replacement of the existing manhole tops & inlet tops necessary to access the storm sewer; diversion pumping for flow diversion, as required by Contractor to complete the work. Scope This project provides for the rehabilitation of the existing 120-inch storm trunkline in an easement. Security Deposit: Included with the Bid is a Security Deposit in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid Price subject to terms described in Document Instructions to Bidders.
