T-385 (North Lawton Road); which involves replacing the existing structure with a new prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge on reinforced concrete abutments and wingwalls Each BID must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the Owner will return the Bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. any questions pertaining to access and use of the website. The deadline for submitting questions is 72 hours before the let date and time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, or to limit the scope of work involved. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Bidder. All Contractors must be PennDOT prequalified. All Contractors shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring employment opportunities. Prevailing wage rates are required for this contract.
