This overall project with funding totaling $25 million is expected to make progress in preserving and improving the ADA community's ability to travel on the Washington State Ferry System and is expected to be provided in $5 million increments (state biennia). WSF will make complete projects that work toward addressing the total ADA needs based on a System Assessment in 23-25 that will yield a prioritized list of ADA deficiencies. WSF will develop projects to address deficiencies within the available funding levels of $5 million over FFYs 27-28. This may include Electronic & Physical signage, Accessible Wayfinding, Detectable Warning Elements & Pathfinding, Hearing Loop Systems, Accessible Galley Seating/Waiting areas, Non-powered and Powered Wheelchairs/Charging Stations, Curb Cuts, Benches, Tactile maps/markings.
