New hvac systems for claremont elementary school for 100 hall, 200 hall & 300 hall classrooms: Hall 100 Classrooms 104, 105, 106 & 107; Hall 200 Classrooms 221, 222, 223, & Space 220; Hall 300 Classrooms 300, 304, 305, 306, 307, 310, 311 & 314 The Mechanical Contractor shall remove existing HVAC Systems and install new Roof Top HVAC units for Hall 100 Classrooms 104, 105, 106 7 107; Hall 200 Classrooms 221, 222, 223 & Space 220; Hall 300 Classrooms 304, 305, 306, 307, 310, 311 & 314 along with all related appurtenances and per the engineered plans and further described in the request for proposal and instructions to bidders. The Work also includes removing air handlers. The Mechanical Contractor shall include the cost to furnish, install and perform all new electrical work and electrical demolition work as specified and shown on the engineered plans and described in the request for proposal and instructions to bidders. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on or before June 9, 2025 and shall complete the Work on or before August 15, 2025. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. The Contractor shall include the cost of Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum for each bond in the base bid amount. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have the proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades at the time of submittal of bids. Bidders are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts.
