The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Warren County Transportation Improvement District (WCTID) developed improvements for the interchange of I-71 and State Route 48, located at Exit 28 in the City of South Lebanon in Warren County, Ohio. The interchange is a partial cloverleaf with loop ramps in the northwest and the southeast quadrant. The project also includes I-71 southbound lanes and S.R. 48 from Corwin Nixon Boulevard to the north to Kingsview Drive. The Warren County Transportation Improvement District (WCTID), in cooperation and coordination with the Warren County Engineer's Office and the Hamilton County Engineer's Office, will be accepting sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials needed to construct ODOT WAR SR 48 9.94 (PID 116865) in accordance with the applicable Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications (effective January 1, 2023 and its revisions and supplements), Standard Construction Drawings, Standard Bridge Drawings, Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control, The State of Ohio Department of Transportation Bridge Design Manual, and other applicable standards in force on the date of letting and in accordance with the Project Specifications and Construction Plans on file in the office of the Warren County Engineer. This project is Install a new traffic signal at the IR 71 southbound ramps and SR 48 intersection. Extend the northbound SR 48 left turn lane to IR 71 southbound. Widen SR 48 northbound to extend the 3 lane section through the IR 71 southbound ramps and SR 48 intersection. The Engineer's estimate for this project is Five Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars and no cents ($5,400,000.00). This notice is posted on the Warren County website.
