Site work and new construction of a residential development in Lake City, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Lake City is requesting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms, licensed in the State of Colorado, to create construction documents and specifications for a planned 28-unit affordable housing project located at 730 Henson Street in Lake City, Colorado, also known as the Lake Fork Housing Project. The project site is located along the west side of the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River. Approximately two-thirds of the site is barely located within the 100-year flood plain and the entire site lies below the grade of Henson Street. The completed design will include placing enough fill at the site to bring it up to grade and out of the floodplain. The project site is also partially located on land that was the site of the Town's former wastewater treatment plant which was demolished and removed in the 1990s Scope of Work 1. Architectural and engineering services to complete a final design for the project. 2. Creation of construction documents and specifications. 3. All design elements should consider that this project will preferably qualify for Low Income Housing Tax Credits and any other funding programs available from the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, or other identified funding streams to assist with construction costs.
