The Monroe County School District (MCSD) will select qualified firm (s) to provide professional services for Environmental Consulting projects district wide. This contract is anticipated to start after April 23, 2025 and will be valid for one year with up to three one-year renewals (with school board approval). Projects will vary in size and nature and may include but not be limited to the following type of projects: a. Asbestos Management investigation, testing, reporting, and documentation. This will include the district 3 year Asbestos monitoring, pre demo investigation, and clearance testing for abatement. b. Site analysis including soils reports and vapor testing. c. Soil management plans d. Indoor Air Quality e. Reports needed to present environmental findings to regulatory agencies. f. Similar additional projects if determined necessary by the district. The Monroe County School District reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all proposals or to waive formalities when it is in the best interest of the Board to do so. The School Board will automatically reject the response of any person or affiliate who appears on the convicted vendor list prepared by the Department of General Services, State of Florida, under Section 287.133(3) (d), F.S. (2024). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
