The City of Sioux City is accepting requests for proposals for the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center Heat Pumps and Piping Design, Bidding, and Construction Management. The City of Sioux City, Iowa is hereby soliciting consultant proposals for professional services to perform the design, bidding, and construction management of the installation of (17) heat pumps and associated piping at the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center. This request invites qualified consultants to submit proposals for accomplishments of the items of work described below under Scope of Services. Proposalsshall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements described in this Request for Proposals. Once the firm is selected, a contract will be negotiated based on a mutually agreed upon scope of services. II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Proposals are being requested to perform design and construction management services for the installation of (17) heat pumps and associated piping at the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center. Consultant services will be funded by The City of Sioux City and/or a Public Transit Infrastructure Grant (PTIG). The project budget, including design, inspection, and construction is estimated at $835,000.
