Build one new Addition, Elementary school for 477 students in grades K-4, to the Existing New Middle/High School The building addition is to be approximately 52,774 SF with a total co-funded budget of $20,826,816 (Master Plan). Total Project Cost: $21,089,663. This project's master plan is based on a 2024 cost set. This project has the following allowances: o Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System for 52,774 SF: $68,606.20 (which is included above). o Enhanced ADA Playground Surface: $187,960.50 (which is included above). o There is one partial Demolition/Abatement of the academic wing of the original existing Pleasant High School with an estimated budget of $262,847.00 to occur after the construction of the new school is completed. o This project will follow LEED v4.0 criteria and be registered for LEED v4.0 Silver. Should the AE team not be experienced in LEED v4.0, the AE is expected to hire a consultant that is qualified. o The project will be designed in accordance with the Ohio Schools Design Manual. o Contracting authority has designated 18 months as a construction duration. Please note the CMR has an opportunity to shorten that duration. The anticipated schedule below includes construction duration for the new building addition only. Demo will follow new construction. o The architect will not be responsible for managing the finances on this project. o There is an opportunity for non-integral locally funded initiatives that will be outside the co-funded scope of the project, but related to the project and will be the subject of a separate contract with the chosen vendor. This scope includes a close up of the original Pleasant High School ("Button Up") and other possible scopes that are not contemplated at this time. o The project agreement is expected to be fully executed in March 2025.
